!!!AN INTRODUCTION INTO CHEMICAL BONDS!!!
!!!!THESE ARE THE TYPES OF CHEMICAL BONDS WE SHALL DISCUSS ON SEPERATE PAGES OF OUR WEBSITE!!!!
CHEMICAL BONDS: is an attraction between atoms that allows the formation of chemical substances that contain two or more atoms.
IONIC BONDS: bond in which one or more electrons from one atom are removed and attached to another atom, resulting in positive and negative ions which attract each other.
COVALENT BONDS: bond in which one or more pairs of electrons are shared by two atoms.
METALLIC BONDS: Metals possess strong bonds, yet the electrons are free to move around, allowing heat and electricity to be conducted.
