So what are chemical bonds?
A chemical bond is an attraction of bonds that allow formations of chemical substances that have two or more atoms. A stable compound occurs when the energy of the combination has lower energy than the separated atoms. The bond is caused by the electrostatic force of attraction between opposite charges.
Why are they made?
A chemical bond is formed by an atom to get more stability.Every atom lowers its potential energy to gain more stability. This happens for the bond to be formed. Energy is free during the formation of the chemical bond which is an exothermic process. The potential energy then is fixed to have no attraction between them. After the atoms have had bond length the atoms have maximum attraction.
Are there different kinds of chemical bonds?
